Description
Siberian fir is a large conifer capable of surviving extreme climates and highly hostile environments. It grows slowly and can reach 45 metres in height. It can live for around 200 years.The essential oil is extracted from the needles. It is particularly pleasant, fresh and, as people often say, “smells clean”.
An essential oil of particular interest for diffusion because of its antiseptic properties.
Therapeutically, like other conifers, it has a strong affinity with the respiratory and skeletal systems.
Appearance: Clear liquid, colourless to light yellow.
Solubility: Soluble in alcohol and oil
