Information for vegans

Dear friend. We understand your commitment to using natural ingredients that are not of animal origin and are, of course, cruelty-free. That is why we have tried to support you in this process and make it a little easier.

With that said, we would like to explain that our products, with a few exceptions listed at the end of this text, are all vegan. I know it can sometimes be difficult to find information about their origin, and we look desperately for a label that says Vegan. I mention this because, as a small shop, we still have a lot to change in this respect, and one area where we have some catching up to do is adding these labels to our packaging and website.

This text is therefore dedicated to you, so that you know that even though many of our products do not carry a label, they are 100% natural, contain no ingredients of animal origin and are cruelty-free.

We are very committed to animal welfare and the environment. Indeed, since our beginnings, we have been the First shop in Spain to use ECO, 100% BIODEGRADABLE packaging for deliveries. Thanks to us, other businesses in the sector have gradually been joining this initiative since this year, 2019, so that together we can be more responsible towards our planet and environment. We have not used products such as animal collagen, powdered milks or other derivatives, or chemicals that are tested on animals.

Please look at the product, find out where it comes from and/or how it is obtained, and if you need support, call and/or write to us.

Below is a summary of the products that are NOT suitable for vegans. If you find another product in the shop that you believe is not suitable, please help us identify it so we can classify it correctly. We will answer your questions as soon as we can.

NON-vegan products:

● Yellow beeswax

● White beeswax

● Anhydrous lanolin (derived from the grease in sheep’s wool. The animal is not killed to extract this substance, but it comes from its fleece).

● Gelatine capsules

● Hydrolysed silk

Products you may have concerns about, but can feel reassured about in our shop:

● Glycolic acid (origin: fruit)

● High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (biotechnological, obtained through a plant-based enzymatic process).

Remember, the whole shop is cruelty-free and, apart from the products listed above, everything else is Vegan.
