Description
It is important to emphasise the difference between squalene and squalane, as they are not the same.
100% plant-derived olive squalane is produced by hydrogenating olive squalene, giving it much better cosmetic properties for both skin care and preservation.
Squalane is a type of oil with a silky feel and high skin compatibility, while retaining the same beneficial properties as squalene. It is very stable: hydrogenation removes the double bonds, making it less susceptible to oxidation.

My favourite oil. It moisturises my hair without weighing it down at all and does not aggravate my seborrhoeic dermatitis. A 10. I use it for everything, in all my creams and shampoos. Also to remove the crusts from the dermatitis. As it is so gentle, I sometimes need to apply it for several days for them to disappear completely. I would say it is the only oil that is 100% safe for seborrhoeic dermatitis.
