Description

The mandarin tree originates from China. It is thought to have reached Europe in the XIX century. As with most citrus fruits, its essence is extracted from the fruit peel, although essential oil extracted from its leaves is also available.
Different essences are available depending on the ripeness of the fruit. The most widely sold are green and red mandarin. They have the same therapeutic properties, but the aroma and colour of the essence are somewhat different.

Mandarin essence is probably one of the most delightful, with its deliciously sweet, tart aroma. It takes us back to childhood and reconnects us with happy memories. It is interesting to see how it encourages conversation, promoting spontaneous, natural communication.
Children are very receptive to the aroma of mandarin; they love it. It is probably the most suitable essence for them. It has a calming, relaxing effect, helping them settle and sleep.
Of course, it is also suitable for adults, particularly in times of stress. It is comforting and promotes self-confidence.
