Description

Vetiver is a plant belonging to the same family as Palmarosa or Lemongrass. It is native to India and Indonesia, where it grows in tropical regions. Traditionally, the plant is used to prevent soil erosion and control water runoff in tropical areas.
Therapeutically, it is traditionally used for relaxation and calming, and it is also used to repel insects.
Vetiver essential oil is one of the most important ingredients in perfumery. It is used as a fixative and is a prominent base note in men’s fragrances, adding a leathery, earthy note.
