Description

Spanish sage is endemic to the Iberian Peninsula and can be found growing wild in Spain. It is a subspecies of the better-known common sage. They differ in leaf shape and, above all, in their aroma. Spanish sage leaves are more elongated and their aroma is very fresh, slightly reminiscent of eucalyptus, due to the presence of eucalyptol in the plant.

Recent scientific studies have shown its potential for improving memory, and its use in Alzheimer's disease has been suggested.

Translated review. I love that they are perfectly labelled in glass bottles, with the composition, at least the main components. Salvia lavandulifolia is not often found; in my village they called it "marisierva"
