Description

The lime tree is native to Southeast Asia. It was probably introduced to Europe during the Crusades. It is grown in various regions of the world, including Europe and America.
Its fruit is particularly prized for preparing dishes.

The essence is extracted from the peel; essential oil obtained by steam distillation is also available.

Its therapeutic properties are similar to those of lemon or grapefruit.

Its aroma is very pleasant and refreshing, often described as cheerful and lively. Lime essential oil is ideal for diffusion to create a relaxed atmosphere.

Solubility: Soluble in alcohol and oil. Insoluble in water

Do not apply to the skin before exposure to sunlight; this is a phototoxic essence.
