Description

Camphor basil (Ocimum kilimandscharicum) is grown in the subtropical and temperate regions of Nepal, particularly in the eastern hills at altitudes above 2000 metres. It is the only perennial basil, reaching up to 1 metre in height, and its green leaves give off a distinctive aroma very similar to camphor.

Our essential oil is made by a cooperative that gathers plants from various local growers, selecting the best raw material for distillation.

Its high D-Camphor content gives it a warm, sweet, floral, herbaceous and camphoraceous aroma.

Appearance: Clear liquid, pale yellow to yellow

Solubility: Soluble in oil, insoluble in water.
