Step by step

Disinfect the beaker, spatula and container. Then let everything dry completely.

With oil-based formulas, we do not want to introduce water accidentally, as it changes how the formula behaves and may complicate preservation.

Weigh the Isostearyl Isostearate and almond oil. Mix gently until the phase looks uniform.

This base is designed to give the serum glide and a more elegant skin feel than a pure vegetable oil.

Add the oil-soluble active ingredient 3 Room temperature

Shake the Oil-soluble Acmella Firming Active Ingredient before use and weigh it at 2%.

Incorporate it into the oil mixture and stir gently until uniform.

Add vitamin E 4 Room temperature

Add the vitamin E and mix again. There is no need to beat: the aim is a uniform mixture without trapped air.

Package in a clean, dry bottle, preferably amber or an airless container compatible with oils.

Apply a very small amount to clean skin. In facial care, less is often more; if it feels heavy, reduce the amount applied to the skin, not necessarily the percentage in the formula.

Preservation, shelf life and validation

  • Indicative anhydrous formula for external cosmetic use. Do not apply to irritated skin, wounds or mucous membranes.
  • It contains no water, so the pH is not measured and no preservative is added; if it is turned into an emulsion, it must be reformulated.
  • Apply a small amount and validate tolerance before continued use.
