Description
Juniper is a shrub with prickly leaves and bluish cones resembling small berries, used for their diuretic and tonic effects since ancient times.
Its Juniper hydrolate is a natural tonic that promotes circulation, making it very useful for tired legs.
It helps purify the skin effectively and is particularly recommended for oily skin.
Hydrolates are the water obtained from essential oil distillation. They consist of 99% water, and the remaining 1% contains a small proportion of the components of the essential oil that was distilled.
Hydrolates are often confused with waters, mainly because in other countries they are called Floral Waters. Waters contain preservatives and may be natural and/or synthetic, whereas a Hydrolate contains no preservatives of any kind. It is more expensive and, because it contains no preservative, a Hydrolate has a much shorter shelf life (lasting between 6 months and a year) than a Water.
