Description

Jojoba, Mimosa and Sunflower active wax

A botanical wax complex designed as an active texturising agent to improve the feel, comfort and stability of cosmetic emulsions. Its profile is of particular interest when a more refined, creamy and lasting feel is desired without making the formula heavy.

May be considered for O/W and W/O facial or body care emulsions, sun care formulas and products where the sensory properties of oil phases, filters, waxes or systems with a higher lipid content need to be improved.

Use in formulation

Melt in the oil phase and homogenise before use.
The documentation states that, for representative sampling or use, the entire contents must be melted and stirred, avoiding taking only the top part of the block.
No universal usage rate was found in the reviewed technical data sheet; adjust through testing according to texture, oil phase and the desired sensory profile.
