Description

Dwarf pine, also known as mountain pine or mugo pine, is a conifer in the Pinaceae family. Native to central and southern Europe, it grows at altitudes between 700 and 2500 metres.
Its wood is used for papermaking and carpentry. It is also used as firewood for heating.

Traditionally, it has been used for its anti-infective and tonic properties.
