Uses and benefits of Organic Calendula Oil
Organic Calendula Oil, also known as Calendula Oil Macerate or Calendula Oil, is a natural product obtained by macerating dried Calendula flowers (at least 20%) in Organic Olive Oil. This extraction process allows all the beneficial properties of Calendula to transfer to the oil, creating a powerful, versatile skincare product.
Organic Calendula Oil is recognised for its ability to soothe, moisturise and nourish the skin naturally. Its gentle, delicate application provides relief for dry, sensitive or irritated skin.
This oil is particularly beneficial for baby skincare, as it helps prevent and treat the irritation and redness common in newborns' delicate skin. Its softening and regenerative properties help keep babies' skin soft, protected and healthy.
Organic Calendula Oil is also widely used in adult skincare. Its composition, rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, helps protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals and promotes a radiant, youthful appearance.
In addition, this oil is known for its anti-inflammatory and healing properties, making it an ideal option for treating skin conditions such as minor burns, wounds, irritation and eczema. Regular application can help reduce inflammation, promote skin healing and improve its appearance.
In conclusion, Organic Calendula Oil, obtained from dried Calendula flowers macerated in Organic Olive Oil, is a valuable skincare product. Its soothing, moisturising and regenerative properties make it suitable for use in adults and in baby skincare. Benefit from this ancient plant and enjoy soft, nourished, healthy skin.

Botanical name: Calendula officinalis - Family: Asteraceae - Genus: Calendula
An aromatic, glandular herbaceous plant, annual to perennial, woody only at the base. The stem is 20 to 55 cm tall, erect or procumbent, branched and usually leafy almost to the top. The leaves measure 7-14 x 1-4 cm and are alternate, simple, oblong-lanceolate, narrowly obovate, oblong or spatulate.
The flowers are ligulate and yellow, flowering almost all year round, closing at night and opening at dawn. The orange-yellow inflorescences form flower heads 3-5cm wide.
The fruits are curved achenes, most with membranous wings or dorsal spines, alternating with shorter, boat-shaped forms. The flowers have an unpleasant smell and a bitter taste.
