Description
Horse Chestnut Buds
Horse chestnut is a large, elegant, majestic tree, widely used for ornamental purposes in towns and the countryside. In cosmetics, horse chestnut bud extract is valued for its ability to improve microcirculation and strengthen capillary walls, which is useful for reducing swelling and improving the appearance of the skin.
Cosmetic applications
Horse chestnut extract can be used in creams for skin with couperose, complementing ingredients such as everlasting and German chamomile essential oils and calophyllum vegetable oil. It helps stimulate microcirculation and strengthen capillaries. Adding it at concentrations of 2 to 5% to creams and gels in the aqueous phase is recommended.
Note: It is not oil-soluble.
Precautions:
- Do not use in pregnant women without supervision from a healthcare professional.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years of age in cosmetic products without appropriate advice.
