Oh, I forgot to mention earlier (in my previous review) that I ordered 250gr, but they sent me 100gr. When I told David, they sent me the 250gr without collecting or asking me to return the 100gr they had already sent. In other words, they did not send me the missing 150gr, but 250gr. I also received it very quickly and at no cost (as it was their mistake). Honestly, gestures like this win me over. Very thoughtful of them.

So far, I have only made a shampoo and a shower gel. I did not add any surfactant to the shampoo to make it foam, or any thickener or gelling agent to make it less runny (basically like water), so the first attempt failed, although I have to say my hair felt good after washing (clean and soft). The second time, I used it with coco betaine (for foam) and xanthan gum (to thicken), as well as shea butter..., and the result is good. But I need to keep experimenting to find a formula I like, because it still does not foam. Foam is not necessary for cleaning, but I need it to feel that it is cleaning ;). I am not sure about the boiling or resting times, so I will keep trying. The strong point is that they sell the root (rather than the stem and leaves, as in other shops), and the root is where the most saponin is concentrated, which is what cleans.

I made shampoo with other ingredients and soapwort. It does not lather as much as shop-bought ones, but you realise that is unnecessary. It cleans hair wonderfully and detangles very well without anything after washing
