Description
One of the most appreciated contributions of sesame oil is its magnesium content. This helps combat physical and mental exhaustion, care for our bones and strengthen the nervous system. It may even help you combat the physical effects of depression.
It also provides a large amount of vitamin E, as well as phospholipids and lecithin.
Sesame oil has been used since ancient times in Asian countries to promote blood circulation, helping to prevent spider veins. This is due to two substances unique to sesame: sesamin and sesamolin. This oil is also very suitable for people with osteoarthritis or arthritis.
It also helps with carpal tunnel syndrome, common muscle cramps, sprains and tendinitis, thanks to its copper content and linoleic and oleic fatty acids.
To benefit from the properties of sesame oil, massage it into inflamed areas for around 15 minutes. It is advisable to moisten the area with water beforehand.
Very rich in antioxidants, 1st-pressed sesame oil provides:- Vitamin E, essential for combating premature ageing.
- Hydration for very dry or damaged skin.
- A revitalising effect, nourishing and repairing the skin.
- Greater skin firmness, reduced stretch marks and even the fading of the familiar marks left by acne.
Good for use after sun exposure, it helps moisturise the skin and soothe possible sunburn, while promoting a more attractive, longer-lasting tan.
