Description
100% plant-based substitute for animal-derived lanolin. It provides high water-retention capacity, an emollient effect and a protective barrier in cosmetic formulations, with a less greasy and sticky feel than traditional lanolin.
It is a plant-derived emollient developed as a direct alternative to lanolin for cosmetic formulations. Its composition combines shea butter, rosin glycerides and olive oil unsaponifiables, replicating the sensory and functional profile of animal lanolin.
This ingredient can absorb up to 4 times its weight in water, providing lasting hydration and forming a semi-occlusive film that helps restore skin elasticity and softness.
It has excellent compatibility in emulsions, adds body to the formula and improves substantivity without leaving a sticky feeling.
Ideal for lip care products, protective creams, balms and repairing formulas where animal-derived ingredients are to be avoided without compromising performance.
