Description

What is Leucidal® SF MAX?

It is "basically" a powerful probiotic-based preservative, naturally extracted without any added chemicals.
Here is its introduction:

Broad-spectrum antibacterial and antifungal preservative, accepted by ECOCERT.
A powerful prebiotic-based ingredient, produced by fermenting Lactobacillus in a controlled growth medium.
Like other members of the lactic acid bacteria family, Lactobacillus can restrict the growth of other microorganisms by acidifying the medium.
Lactobacillus also produces new antimicrobial peptides, bacteriocins, which are responsible for providing broader-spectrum antimicrobial protection.
Leucidal SF Max is an improved, next-generation preservative, with lysozymes added during filtration of the ferment to ensure controlled cell lysis that releases antimicrobial peptides, achieving maximised activity.
In addition to its preservative activity, Leucidal SF Max is a moisturising active ingredient in its own right. Ideal for delicate hair and skin.

You can use Leucidal® SF Max in a wide range of cosmetic products. To ensure the best results, we recommend adding it when the final product is at a temperature below 70ºC.

Recommendations for Use:

From 2% to 4%. At the recommended concentrations, the product is harmless to the skin.
