Silky-touch lipid complex - squalane and Isoamyl Laurate

An anhydrous lipid complex with silky, silicone-like glide, without silicones. It combines squalane, Isoamyl Laurate and tocopherol to provide spreadability, a satin feel, a soft-focus finish and good compatibility with other emollients.

Benefits and uses

Improves the formula's glide and playtime during application.
Provides a silky, light, non-sticky feel.
Compatible with C12-C15 esters, C8-C10 triglycerides, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate and pigments.

Use in formulation

Recommended usage rate: 10% - 50% of the final formula.
Incorporate into the oil phase at 20 - 45 C with gentle stirring.
Minimise aeration, avoid prolonged overheating and work with clean, dry containers.
Oil-soluble. It is not water-soluble and should not be added directly to aqueous phases without a suitable emulsifier or solubiliser system.
