C10-18 Triglycerides - Texturising wax

C10-18 triglycerides in the form of a waxy solid, designed as a texturising agent to improve the feel on skin and lips. It is a functional wax particularly suited to lipsticks, cosmetic pencils, emulsions and products where body, structure and a more refined sensory profile are desired.

Documented drop point: 35,0 - 36,5 °C.
Insoluble in water; soluble in mineral oils and readily soluble in reference lipophilic solvents.

Use in formulation

Incorporate into the oil phase in melted form.
Of interest in lip products, sticks, cosmetic pencils, emulsions and balms.
The reviewed technical data sheet does not provide a universal usage rate; adjust through testing according to hardness, melting point and final texture.
Store at or below 30 °C and avoid storage above 35 °C because of the risk of clumping.
