Description
Although better known as the aromatic plant Cyprus Oregano, this variety is also endemic to Turkey, where it is gathered wild during flowering and its aerial parts are distilled, producing a very aromatic essential oil.
Like common oreganos, its biochemical composition is rich in Carvacrol.
