Description

White cypress occurs naturally in Australia, growing in the drier inland regions of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
White cypress has similarities to Australian blue cypress.
Australian white cypress wood was highly valued in Aboriginal culture for making tools such as spears and spear-throwers, as well as ceremonial objects, paddles and musical instruments. The resin was also mixed with kangaroo dung to form an adhesive.
The leaves were used for various medicinal purposes.
The wood is naturally very resistant to termites and continues to be used in construction.

Its aroma is comforting and relaxing, helping us calm down and balance our emotional state.

It is used in natural perfumery as a fixative, and for cosmetic purposes, particularly to brighten the complexion.

Appearance: Clear liquid, colourless to light yellow

Solubility: Soluble in alcohol and oil. Insoluble in water
