Description
The fig tree is a fruit tree that has been cultivated on Mediterranean coasts for thousands of years and probably originated in Asia. In cosmetics, fig tree bud extract is valued for its soothing and balancing properties, being particularly beneficial for sensitive and stressed skin. It helps revitalise the skin and promote a healthy, radiant appearance.
Cosmetic applications
Fig tree extract is ideal for products intended to soothe and balance the skin. It is useful for skin showing signs of stress, sensitivity or irritation. It also helps improve skin hydration and elasticity. It can be added as an active ingredient to creams, gels or serums at a concentration of 2 to 5%.
Note: It is not oil-soluble.
