Description

Sea buckthorn is an exceptional plant with great adaptability. It grows low in inhospitable places and withstands extreme temperatures. Since antiquity, it has been used in Tibet to promote vitality. In cosmetics, sea buckthorn bud extract is a valuable adaptogenic and protective active ingredient for skin exposed to extreme and cold weather conditions, rich in vitamins A, C, E and iron.

Cosmetic applications

Sea buckthorn gemmotherapy extract is ideal as an anti-ageing active ingredient and helps strengthen skin function. It can be added as an active ingredient to creams or gels at a concentration of 2 to 5%.
Note: It is not oil-soluble, so it must be incorporated into the water phase of formulations.
