Creamy shower gel with Lauryl Glucoside
Gentle body wash in which Lauryl Glucoside is the main surfactant.
A rinse-off shower gel intended to show how Lauryl Glucoside provides cleansing, moderate foam and a creamier texture within a simple system.
The main ingredient is Lauryl Glucoside. The recipe is designed around it as the core of the cleansing system, rather than a token addition. The other ingredients help adjust texture, foam, comfort in use and preservation.
Why it is designed this way:
- Lauryl Glucoside is used at 25%, higher than the other surfactants, so that it is clearly the main ingredient.
- Coco Betaine softens the feel during use and helps make the foam more pleasant.
- Xanthan is used at a low level because some glucosides already provide viscosity on their own.
- No fragrance is added, to make the first validation of tolerance, smell and stability easier.
Easy level: requires precise weighing, slow mixing to avoid filling the formula with air, and a final pH check. This is an indicative suggestion; before continued use or marketing, stability, preservation, pH, viscosity, container compatibility, foam and tolerance must be validated.

Step by step
Preservation, shelf life and validation
- Indicative formula for external, rinse-off use. Work with clean, disinfected utensils, a clean container and protected hands.
- Do not use the formula if its smell, colour or texture changes, or if unusual separation appears.
