Description
Important: the aromatic constituents of Juniper Berry Essential Oil vary considerably according to the quality and selection of the raw material used.
The variety available from Mi Cosmética Casera has the highest biological value, with a high Myrcene and Sabinene content. It is wild-grown and obtained from pruning residues, from which only the berries are selected.
If you are looking for a more economical option, Juniper Berries and Branches (without leaves) is also available on our website: https://www.micosmeticacasera.es/aceite-esencial-de-enebro-bayas-ramas-bio
Aromatic Profile: This essential oil has a fresh, clear, slightly sweet and woody aroma. It is known for its distinctively clean, penetrating scent, with spicy or peppery notes.
Applications: Traditionally used for its detoxifying and diuretic properties. It benefits the digestive system and helps relieve inflammation and pain in arthritis and rheumatism. In aromatherapy, it is used to cleanse the air and help relieve stress and anxiety.
There is a notable difference between an oil made from berries, one from berries and branches, and a mixture of all parts (berries, branches and leaves). The last is the most common on the market: the cheapest, but of lower value.
Appearance: Clear liquid, colourless to yellow
Solubility: Soluble in alcohol and oil. Insoluble in water
Precautions
Do not use orally during pregnancy or in children under 6 years old. Use with caution in cases of renal insufficiency.
