Dry-touch lipid complex - squalane and Coco-Caprylate/Caprate
An emollient lipid complex with a dry finish, combining squalane, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate and tocopherol. This combination improves glide, reduces greasiness and provides a velvety finish with good spreadability.
Benefits and uses
- A dry, non-greasy finish with rapid absorption.
- Improves the spreadability of dry oils, serums and light emulsions.
- Compatible with cosmetic esters, medium-chain triglycerides and non-ionic emulsifiers.
Use in formulation
- Recommended usage rate: 10% - 50% of the final formula.
- Incorporate into the oil phase at 20 - 45 C with gentle stirring.
- Minimise aeration, avoid prolonged overheating and work with clean, dry containers.
- Oil-soluble. It is not water-soluble and should not be added directly to aqueous phases without a suitable emulsifier or solubiliser system.
