Antioxidant lipid complex - squalane and tocopherol

An anhydrous lipid complex combining squalane with tocopherol to provide light emollience, good spreadability and an antioxidant reserve within the oil phase. It is a versatile base for serums, facial oils, sticks, balms and emulsions with a lightweight feel.

Helps improve the feel and spreadability of the oil phase.
Provides antioxidant support for lipid matrices and oil-soluble active ingredients.
A neutral sensory profile, suitable for formulas where a lightweight feel and minimal residue are desired.

Use in formulation

Recommended usage rate: 10% - 50% of the final formula.
Incorporate into the oil phase at 20 - 45 C with gentle stirring.
Minimise aeration, avoid prolonged overheating and work with clean, dry containers.
Oil-soluble. It is not water-soluble and should not be added directly to aqueous phases without a suitable emulsifier or solubiliser system.
