Description

Soluble in water, practically insoluble in 96% ethanol.
Uses and Properties of Sodium Bicarbonate
pH regulator in cosmetic preparations.
It can also be used for acid burns, as its alkaline nature neutralises acids.

Side Effects
- If swallowed, it may cause stomach cramps, belching and flatulence.
Precautions
- Usar con extremada precaución en pacientes con insuficiencia renal, cardíaca, o hepática, hipertensión arterial, hiperaldosteronismo, o en aquellos que siguen un tratamiento con corticosteroides.
- No utilizar durante periodos prolongados.
- NO apto uso alimentario.
- Conservar en envases bien cerrados y proteger del calor.
- Al ingerir una dosis alta puede producir una rotura gastrica.
