Description
Ashwagandha powder is obtained from the root of Withania sominifera, also known as Indian ginseng. According to Ayurveda, its Sanskrit name translates as “strength of the horse”, as it strengthens the body’s defences and restores vitality.
It is mainly used on the hair, but also on the skin to combat signs of ageing through its antioxidant active ingredients.
Our Ashwagandha powder is for external use only and must not be ingested. Its most common uses include adding it to solid shampoo, as it reduces hair loss and dandruff and adds shine.
It is used both for oily hair and for scalps prone to eczema and psoriasis.
Precautions: Powdered product. Wearing a mask is recommended.
