Description
Patauá oil, also called seje, is obtained from the fruit pulp of Oenocarpus bataua, a palm in the Arecaceae family. The documented product is a virgin, cold-pressed oil of Brazilian origin.
It is an emollient oil for incorporating into creams, massage blends and hair care products. It is not tomato seed oil: the two raw materials have different identities and compositions.
Before using saponification values or fatty acid composition data to formulate soap, check them against the technical certificate for the supplied batch. Keep the container tightly closed and protected from light and heat. Raw material for cosmetic use; do not ingest.
