ZCS surfactant has good cleansing and foaming properties that can improve the stability of preservative systems. It is also very mild and suitable for all skin types.

A pH value below 5,5 is required in the formulation.

Typical use percentages

• As a primary surfactant: use from 10 to 15%.
• As a secondary surfactant: use from 1 to 5%.
• For a preservative effect: increase the % according to the formulation and other preservatives present; it may vary between 0.5% and 2%.
