Description

Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate is an anionic surfactant derived from glutamic acid that is mainly used as an oil-in-water emulsifier. Its cleansing and foaming ability is relatively low.

It can be used to stabilise emulsions and help disperse pigments. Depending on the formulation, it allows hot or cold processing. It is a raw material for making cosmetics, not a finished cream or cleanser.
