Description

A colourless, viscous, odourless liquid with good hygroscopicity. It dissolves easily in water and ethanol, and the solution is neutral. Its melting point is 17º C and its boiling point is 140º.
Areas of application:
It is used as a flavouring agent, pH agent, hygroscopic agent and colour fixative, etc., in food, cosmetics and the medical industry.
Benefits
Extends shelf life and improves the texture, colour and flavour of the final product; preservative. Use level: according to the product being made and its formulation. Composition: it is the sodium salt of lactic acid, produced by fermenting sucrose from sugar cane. Sensory specifications.

Precautions

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.

Do not apply directly to the skin. Dilute in a carrier oil or follow the recommended usage rate for creams and other cosmetics. This rate should be 1% or 2% at most.
