Description

Jojoba oil is already wonderful for every skin type. Now this organic, unrefined, decolourised and deodorised version is set to become an essential ingredient for solid perfumes, oil-based perfumes and any cosmetic where you do not want to add colour.

Our Organic Decolourised (and Deodorised) Jojoba Oil is obtained by filtering organic 1st-pressed oil through diatomaceous earth: a non-toxic, highly absorbent material made of microscopic fossil remains, mainly algae. This preserves its organic status and retains as many properties as possible.

This process is very different from refining, in which oil undergoes chemical processes to achieve a particular result in terms of smell, taste, acidity or colour.

Additional Benefits

  • Does not stain or add colour: perfect for solid cosmetics.
  • Odourless: ideal for oil-based perfumes.
  • Unrefined: retains all its properties!

Jojoba oil is extracted from the seeds by cold pressing.

The composition of this oil is very similar to our skin's natural sebum; in fact, it consists of esters. It is therefore readily absorbed by the skin without leaving a greasy feel. Its high concentration of ceramides makes it stable against oxidation and heat, and jojoba is the only plant that produces a liquid wax.

Its properties include:

  • Maintains hydration thanks to its unsaturated fatty acids, promoting optimum water retention.
  • Suitable for all skin types: oily skin because it is absorbed quickly, and dry skin because it increases hydration.
  • Unblocks pores and hair follicles, resulting in cleaner skin and reduced hair loss.
  • For hair, it moisturises, repairs, improves shine and helps control frizz.
  • Soothing and anti-inflammatory, making it ideal for all kinds of massage.
  • A valuable ally for skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, acne or irritation.
  • Neutralises free radicals to prevent premature ageing, providing firmness and elasticity.
  • Contains vitamins C, E, A and B with antioxidant action, helping to prevent cell damage.
  • Regulates the skin's natural pH and has antifungal and antibacterial effects.

Precautions

Avoid use if you are allergic to the fruit or nut from which this vegetable oil is extracted. This is a natural product.

Taxonomy

Botanical name: Simmondsia chinensis - Family: Simmondsiaceae - Genus: Simmondsia

It is the only plant that produces a liquid wax (ester) with physical and chemical properties useful to a wide range of basic industries, including cosmetics, lubricants, fuels, waxes, plastics, computers and biodiesel (for which demand is expected to increase gradually). It is a dioecious plant, with male plants that produce pollen and female plants that produce the fruit.

This species has attracted considerable worldwide interest because of its many applications. Jojoba oil can replace hydrocarbon-derived oils with additional benefits and, unlike petroleum, is a renewable resource. Based on the chemical structure and physical characteristics of its molecules, this oil or liquid wax could replace up to 80 % of petroleum derivatives.

Translated review. I had doubts, but am delighted. It does not stain clothes. I always use jojoba in summer; the drawback is that light clothes turned yellowish from the oil after a shower. With this one, nothing. I am delighted.

Al principio tenía dudas

Tenía mis dudas, pero estoy encantada, No mancha la ropa. Siempre uso Jojoba en verano y la pega, es que en las ropas claras siempre quedaba amarillentas por el aceite después de la ducha pero con éste nada. Estoy encantada.
