Description

Mimosa belongs to the Acacia family. It is native to Australia, where it thrives in the Blue Mountains, and has adapted very well to Mediterranean regions and other mild climates.
It has mainly been used as an ornamental tree, but its floral, powdery and honeyed notes captivated great perfumers, and mimosa extract began to feature in perfumes created in Grasse in southern France.
Mimosa essential oil is difficult to work with because it solidifies. We have therefore chosen to offer it diluted in jojoba to make it easier to use.
The natural constituents of Mimosa Absolute, produced entirely from selected flowers (without stems) of Acacia dealbata, include acetic and palmitic esters, enanthic acid and anisic acid.
It is uplifting, relaxing and soothing. It improves the mood and encourages happiness. The essential oil can help soothe nervousness.
