Description

With a slightly spicy aroma, tea tree hydrolate is characterised by its antifungal, antibacterial, purifying and refreshing effects.

It is an ideal option for treating mature skin, skin with excess sebum production and skin prone to acne. It is ideal for all skin types. It helps soothe and heal irritated and damaged skin.

It creates an active, moisturising protective film/layer on the skin’s surface with softening, soothing and wound-healing effects.

Hydrolates are the water obtained from essential oil distillation. They consist of 99% water, and the remaining 1% contains a small proportion of the components of the essential oil that was distilled.

Hydrolates are often confused with waters, mainly because in other countries they are called Floral Waters. Waters contain preservatives and may be natural and/or synthetic, whereas a Hydrolate contains no preservatives of any kind. It is more expensive and, because it contains no preservative, a Hydrolate has a much shorter shelf life (lasting between 6 months and a year) than a Water.
