Description

Legend has it that Rodanta, a very beautiful young woman desired by kings and rulers, lived in the ancient city of Corinth.
Overwhelmed by this, she took refuge in the temple of Artemis, goddess of purity, but it was of little use, as they followed her.
The suitors broke down the temple doors, greatly angering Artemis. She transformed Rodanta into a red rose and all her followers into the thorns that protect her from those who wish to possess her.
