Description

TCare SE is an O/W (oil-in-water) emulsifier and co-emulsifier offering several benefits in the formulation of skin care products.

It is a true revolution in the new range of self-emulsifiers produced from renewable, natural raw materials, making it a friendlier option for sensitive and irritation-prone skin.

This wonderful emulsifier has humectant properties and is free from PEG, preservatives and residual solvents, thereby reducing the risk of potential allergic reactions or irritation in people with extremely sensitive skin.

Used in pharmaceutical cream and lotion formulations for extremely sensitive skin, it is mainly intended for facial cosmetics, baby products and after-sun products (After sun).

Its ability to form stable O/W emulsions makes it a versatile, useful ingredient in different types of products.

Recommendations for use

Just 2% is sufficient for most lotions, and the level can be increased to 5%.

How to formulate with TCare

Indicative dosage: 2% - 5% as a starting range in O/W emulsions. 2% may be sufficient in light lotions; increase the dosage when more body or a more demanding oil phase is desired.
Incorporation phase: hot oil phase. Melt completely before emulsifying.
Temperature: hot process. Heat the oil and water phases to a similar temperature; as a practical starting point, work at around 70-75 °C or until completely melted and homogeneous.
Applications: lotions, light creams, facial emulsions, body products and cosmetic formulas intended for delicate skin or a feeling of comfort.
Validation: adjust the dosage according to the oil phase, viscosity, stability, preservative, final pH and packaging. Always test before continued use or sale.
