Description

This Australian Rosewood Essential Oil is one of the more recent oils on the market, obtained at a private site near Byron Bay. It has a calming, inspiring aroma with an earthy, woody base reminiscent of the rainforest, complemented by subtle sweet and floral notes. It comes from a very rare Australian botanical species grown specifically for this purpose.

Recommended Combinations

This oil is exceptional both on its own and combined with woody, spicy or floral oils. Use it sparingly in blends to prevent its aroma from dominating. It combines well with Australian Sandalwood, Lemon Myrtle, Rose Myrtle and Rose oils.

Characteristics

The oil is pale sky blue and has a thick, honey-like consistency. Its aroma combines subtle rosy notes with earthy, woody, sweet and floral tones, with a fresh element that evokes the rainforest.


Appearance: Clear liquid, pale blue to slightly dark blue.

Solubility: Soluble in alcohol and oil, insoluble in water
