Description

Shikakai powder is obtained from the dried fruits (pods) of the Acacia concinna plant. Its name means “fruit for the hair”, which in itself indicates its extensive use in haircare cosmetics.
Thanks to its low pH, the fact that it does not strip the hair of its natural oils, and its high saponin content (natural non-ionic surfactant cleansers), it can be used to prepare a plant-based shampoo for all hair types and the scalp, providing shine, strength and softness. It does all this without needing a separate conditioner, as it acts as a detangler, making it particularly suitable for caring for tired, tangled hair. In the Ayurvedic tradition, it is used to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth, as well as helping with dandruff.
Precautions: Powdered product. Wearing a mask and goggles is highly recommended.

Precautions

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.

Do not apply directly to the skin. Dilute in a carrier oil or follow the recommended usage rate for creams and other cosmetics. This rate should be 1% or 2% at most.
