Description
Since Dalbergia (Indian Rosewood) was placed on the endangered species list and its export became regulated by CITES (CITES Appendix II in 2016), we have been looking for alternatives. A similar situation arose with Aniba Rosaeodora (Amazonian Rosewood, the traditional source), whose essential oil has, for some years, been obtained from pruning residues, creating a sustainable circular economy through the protection and reforestation of this precious tree.
It is no secret that, for decades, most Rosewood Essential Oil on the market has been adulterated (or reconstituted products sold as 100% pure). Its composition (between 70 and 95% Linalool, with a specific optical rotation) lends itself to being replicated with varying degrees of sophistication, but generally at low cost.
As this is a much sought-after essential oil and we have been out of stock since 2020 (both Dalbergia and Aniba), we have decided to offer this very successful aromatic reconstruction, free from parabens, phthalates, glycols and other ethoxylated products. You can therefore continue enjoying its scent in your cosmetic creations, at a considerably lower price than the pure essential oil.
In our tests, it does not accelerate trace and acts as a fixative for other fragrances thanks to the synthetic linalool in its formula.
Until we can once again offer genuine, 100% pure essential oil, you can enjoy this reconstruction.
