Our Organic Aloe Vera Juice is produced in Spain and is of the highest quality. It is filtered, so it contains no pulp or mucilage, making it ideal for applying directly to the skin or adding to your homemade creams.

The difference between the food-grade and non-food-grade versions is the added preservative, which in this case is natural (Sodium Benzoate).
For the food-grade version, which will soon be available in our shop, the preservative is simply citric acid.

It is important to emphasise that Pure Aloe vera Juice is almost colourless to a very pale yellow. As a juice, it contains no thickener, so its texture is completely liquid.

If you want Aloe vera Gel instead of juice, you can make it yourself simply by adding 1% of a thickener such as regular Xanthan Gum or Clear Xanthan Gum (which leaves no lumps and gives a better final texture).

Hola Nurialisi. El Jugo de aloe vera 100% puro es así, completamente líquido. Cuando partes una penca (hoja) se extrae la parte mucilaginosa que es espesa y transparente. Ese mucílago se presiona en frío extrayendo así el líquido (jugo puro) por una parte, y quedando el mucílago por otra. luego se filtra para eliminar posibles restos de mucílago, por lo que el resultado final es este líquido de olor y sabor característico, completamente líquido. Si fuera algo espeso querría decir que tiene algún espesante. Este jugo de Aloe Vera es 100% puro, sin aditivos, y en origen es de uso alimentario. No puedes comparar el jugo que sacas en casa de una planta de Aloe Vera con el jugo puro de la planta ya que normalmente no se separan las dos partes. Un saludo.
