Description

When applied topically, it acts as an excellent anti-inflammatory thanks to unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid. It also prevents pores from becoming blocked by excess sebum, which occurs in oily and mature skin. Mature skin combats dehydration by producing excess sebum to prevent surface tightness, which further complicates the situation.
Oleic acid enhances absorption through the skin, allowing the oil’s lipophilic substances to penetrate.
It also contains phytosterols, which have anti-inflammatory effects on the skin and promote fibroblast multiplication, giving it regenerating properties.
Finally, it contains carotenoids, including lutein, which help protect against free radicals and therefore premature ageing.
It can be used to protect and strengthen hair because it contains B vitamins.
