Description
Yuzu (Citrus junos) is a citrus fruit with a thick peel and large seeds. Each fruit yields very little juice and has an unmistakable smell and flavour. Its essential oil is still very expensive to add to soaps or creams, but this reconstruction of yuzu from blends of other citrus oils lets you achieve a luxurious aroma!
An interesting fact: in the early 2010s, it also conquered the Western world, and yuzu became a sought-after ingredient in many high-end restaurants, pastry shops and bakeries. To name just a couple: chef Ferran Adrià of the famous El Bulli restaurant used yuzu meringue in his dish “El Bosque Animado”, while Jordi Bordas, the celebrated world-champion pastry chef, devoted his dessert “Yuzu à l'Aube” entirely to yuzu fruit!

Appearance: Clear liquid, colourless to light yellow
Solubility: Soluble in alcohol and oil. Insoluble in water
Precautions
Not for use by pregnant women or children. People with kidney or heart failure should use it in moderation.
Do not apply directly to the skin. Dilute in a carrier oil or follow the recommended usage rate for creams and other cosmetics. This rate should be 1% or 2% at most.
