Description

German chamomile, also called matricaria or blue chamomile because of the essential oil's colour, grows in many regions of Europe and Western Asia.
It is often found in fields and along paths.

It has a long tradition of use as a medicinal plant.
Its botanical name comes from the Latin “matrix”, referring to the womb. It has been widely recommended for treating “women's ailments”, although women are not the only ones to benefit from its use. It is one of the natural remedies most often recommended for relieving babies' colic, and in Germany in particular it is used to soothe irritated and inflamed skin. It is also highly valued for its digestive properties.

Its essential oil is easily recognised by its colour and scent. The blue-green colour is due to the presence of chamazulene.
Its aroma is difficult to describe, but it is fair to say that it is not pleasant.

Precautions

May be used during pregnancy and on children under professional supervision.

Do not apply directly to the skin. Dilute in a carrier oil or follow the recommended usage rate for creams and other cosmetics. This rate should be 1% or 2% at most.

Translated review. They called to tell me they were switching my blue chamomile to the organic one, giving me more information than I had asked for and sending me the batch chromatography compared with the previous one... I have never seen anything like it from any supplier, and I have been working with essential oils for more than 15 years. The product is indescribable for its price. The aroma, the texture, the way it behaves on the skin... The experience was as though I had distilled it myself and had a laboratory to hand for testing. I think you should change the website's name... because many people who, like me, work with aromatherapy may think these are low-quality oils... and I can say categorically that the opposite is true. Atención de 10, producto increibleMe llamaron para indicarme que me cambiaban de la manzanilla azul a la Ecológica, dándome más información de la que había pedido y mandándome la cromatografía del lote, comparada con la anterior... jamás he visto algo igual en ningún proveedor, y llevo más de 15 años con aceites esenciales.
El producto es algo indescriptible para el precio que tiene. El aroma, la textura, el comportamiento en la piel... la experiencia ha sido como si yo mismo hubiera destilado y hubiera tenido a mano el laboratorio para hacer el testeo. Creo que deberíais cambiar el nombre de la web... porque a muchos que como yo trabajan con aromaterapia, pueden creer que son aceites de baja calidad... y con total rotundidad afirmo que es todo lo contrario.
