Ätherisches Zedernöl
Zedern sind große Bäume von 25 bis 50 Metern Höhe. Ihre immergrünen, kurzen Nadeln von 2 bis 4 cm sind etwas spitz und wachsen büschelweise an kurzen Zweigen. Es gibt mehrere Arten. Das ätherische Öl kann durch Wasserdampfdestillation aus den blaugrünen Blättern (Nadeln) und Zweigen oder aus den Beeren (Früchten) gewonnen werden.
Eigenschaften
Das ätherische Öl wird gegen Haarausfall und andere Probleme wie Schuppen verwendet. Es ist auch für seine günstigen Eigenschaften bei fettiger Haut und zum Entfernen von Akne- oder Narbenmalen bekannt. Durch Verdampfen soll es bei Atemwegsproblemen wie Nebenhöhlenentzündung, Erkältung, Bronchitis oder Grippe helfen.
